MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR:
Jerry Douglas – Dobrowho?
PERFORMANCE'S:I want to first start off by saying this...Most of the performance's I didn't much care for...
Best Performance's:Miranda Lambert: Oh my gosh! I was...wow! She did, IMO, the best performance of the night...I loved her stage presence, and just her overall talent! I must say, she had me rockin' out with her! She kicked major ass!
Julie Roberts: The by far BEST performance I've seen out of her yet! Her confidence poured out of her, and that was the first time I've ever seen her move so much on stage! She let lose, and just flowed with the music! Not only did she look beautiful, but so was her performance!!!
Sara Evans: My oh my! I have said this before, and last night confirmed it...Sara has one of the, if not the best voice's in country music!! I actually kind-of giggled at some her facial expression's! She did an amazing job, hand's down!!!
Carrie Underwood: This is the first time she's ever sent chills down my spine, and gave me goosebumps! She kicked majour ass on
Jesus Take The Wheel. The girl has a voice, and it sounded amazing!!
Garth Brooks: I thought he was retarded? HA! He did amazing on
Good Ride Cowboy!! He rocked it out!
Keith Urban: When does that boy sound bad? Like usual! He kicked majour aussie ass! But dude...The hair...WTF?
Sugarland: They could have done better, but I still loved it...Jen with Bon Jovi...WOW! That was amazing!!! Not only did she kick, but so did he! One of the best calb's I'v seen!
OK TO BAD PERFOMANCES:Dolly, and Elton: One strike was already thrown before they ever hit the stage...I hate Elton...Dolly did very good, but the whole Elton in country thing...To weird...
Dierks Bentley: I did not like his performance at all...I'm not a fan of
Come Alittle Closer, but on a good note Robbie looked friggin' hot!! :-)
George Strait: I was actually sad with his performance...It wasn't the worst, but it was ok...But he still rocked it out pretty good! I think I just contridicted myself 3 or 4 times already! LOL!
Martina: I don't know why, but for some reason I didn't much care for her performance...It was good, though...
Big and Rich: I'm not a big fan of their's to begin with, but they did pretty good! I just had an urge to steal Big Kenny's scarf...What guy wear's a scarf? Well, unless he's gay... *rolleyes*
Gretchen: I'm not sure what to think about her performance...Me, and Felicia were trying to decide rather or not she was actually singing...It just sounded to "perfect"...Maybe she was singing...Who knows...(BTW, I'm not in a bash-gretchen mood...Just clearing that up!)
Brooks and Dunn: Almost to the first chorus, I had to turn the tv down...So didn't like their performance...
Kenny Chesney: Eh, it was ok...I'm not a "fan" to begin with, but he did pretty good...Not to mention, and I'm not ashamed to say this, but he looked pretty damn good! LOL!
Faith and Tim: I thought they did really good on their performance...Faith sounded amazing...Just couldn't hear Tim! :(
HOTTEST DRESSED ARTISTS:Joe Nichols,
Shania,
ONJ,
Trisha, and
MG!
FAVORITE ARTISTS ON RED CARPET:Ryan Shupe and The Rubber Band,
Cowboy Troy,
Julie Roberts, and
Jason Aldean!
KATIE or LANCE:Me and Felicia were trying to decide who looked the most hot...Katie, or Lance...We finally agreed that Katie did...Sorry, Lance!
MOST ANNOYING PART OF THE SHOW:Willie Nelson's performance...Sorry, but I've never liked that man, and never will...
Over all it was a pretty good award show...Can't wait for the repeats! :-) I wonder if they will repeat the red carpet?
