The night kicked off perfect with Jeff Foxworthy dancing to Trace Adkin's "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk".
Funny's of the night...
---Not perfectly quoted.- As an artist you have to be careful about what you name your songs. Or Hollywood will use them against you. Like, last year the hit song was "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy". Then we got "Brokeback Mountain". I don't think that's what Big & Rich had in mind.
- Some of the artist now days are drinking whiskey out of a sippy cup...Miranda Lambert is so young that her tour is being brought to you by the letter J and the number 7. (I'm still laughing at that one!)
- Mattel made a Martina McBride barbie doll. That's the only thing I've bought the kid's that my wife has been jealous of.
- If you have a few drinks, don't drive. If you take down a few bodyguards, you won't have to worry about driving. There were so many more, but they just left me. The funniest the ever was seeing him dance to "HTB". Now, that was scary! Funny, but scary.
PRE-PARTY:
I honestly thought the best performance was Jason Aldeans -
Why and Little Big Towns -
Boondocks and
Lookin' For A Reason.
The only other performer's was VanZant, but I'm not a huge fan of them.
I'm currently looking at the CMT boards...Some people!
