I can't really say much about illegal alien's in our country. Why? Because I haven't done much research on it. But I will say this, since it seems to be the biggest thing on tv for this week. I knew about 6 people who were from Mexico. They were illegally here. They were good people, just trying to find a better way of life. They had normal, min. wage jobs. Just like everyone else. Barely paying bills. Barely having enough food to eat. Their kid's were like other kids. Then they got deported back to Mexico.

I understand that people from Mexico are wanting a better life. I know that. They want better jobs. They want to have more money to feed their kids. To put clothes on their backs. To give them a better education. I get that. But where is it fair to us American's to let them come here illegally? If American's did what they are doing to us, we would be thrown in a Mexican jail before we got across the border. As American's, in many, MANY way's we are better off than MANY countries. Even though it doesn't seem like it at times. We are. We still (barely, sometimes) have the freedom to do whatever we want. (Almost) We as women, aren't beat, or killed for speaking our minds.

I do not have a problem with people coming here from Mexico. What I have a problem with is them coming here illegally. I look at this way. It cost's them a lot of money (for those that use help getting across the borders) to get here to America. Why can't they use that money to come here the right way? My view is this, and this is just my opinion people...You want American rights. Then come here the RIGHT way.

Ok, I'll shut-up now, before I get cyber beatin'-up. :-)

BUCKY WENT HOME LAST NIGHT!!! But, I was praying it was him, and not Ace...What has happened to me? I use to hate Ace. Now he's grown on me. Even though sometime's he remind's me of a petofile (sp?). Next week is Rod Stewart. Oh joy. I know none of his songs!! I didn't know any Queen song's except for "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "We Will Rock You". Which, I still think Ace rocked the house with........But that's just me.

My mom still hasn't told me about her mammogram (sp?) today. So, I'm playing the dumb card. Praying that it's nothing.

I just heard this song today. It's a new one by Mark Wills called Hank

The last two line's of the first verse made me think of my friends. Because even though we all have different views on religion, politics, and other stuff. We're still family, and we don't love each other anyless! :)

Well, my old Uncle Joe, he's a proud Democrat.
He's got FDR on his baseball cap,
An' thinks the whole country's on a one-way track to hell.
He says there's only one truck an' that's a Chevrolet.
Everything else is money gone to waste,
An' a lot more people oughtta learn to do for themselves.
Well, I love how we can disagree.
An' we can still be family.

Makes me think about Hank:
How he played his songs.
Made a long-haired pot-smokin' hippy wanna sing along.
Makes me think about life an' all it's different roads.
There's a million you can pick,
But they're all gonna lead you back home.
Yeah, we're livin' in some crazy days,
We're all crazy in our diff'rent ways.
But we can all get along,
Without everybody thinkin' the same.

We got a big hair preacher on channel nineteen;
A Maharaji on sixty-three,
An' the good Lord's upstairs, tryin' to get them both on the phone.
We got country boy's sayin' that rap just sucks,
An' rappers sayin'country's all outta touch,
But there's plenty of room for both on my radio.
'Cause music ain't right or wrong,
So tonight, let's just rock on an' on.

(Aw, c'mon, yeah boy.)
Instrumental break.

Makes me think about life an' all it's different roads.
There's a million you can pick,
But they're all gonna lead you back home.
Yeah, we're livin' in some crazy days,
We're all crazy in our diff'rent ways.
But we can all get along,
Without everybody thinkin' the same.
Yeah, the more things change,
The more they stay the same.
Makes me think about ol' Hank.
